This is the "award" we mentioned. We placed 3rd in the Ballard Firehouse's battle of the bands (out of 100+ bands). We were young and didn't know any better.

For all of you that are just starting out... "battle of the bands" is actually club promoter speak that means "we will sucker a bunch of bands to try to convice their friends to show up and watch them play at 11:45 PM on a Wednesday night but not pay anyone".

We got screwed on our guarantee for finishing in the top 5, and we got a trophy instead of cash. Who gives out trophy's for music anyways? The Ballard firehouse can suck it!
