Dapper Jones is a Seattle based band playing since 1997

If we follow the template of what most bands show on their site, you should be prepared for an over-driven analysis which would lead you to believe:

• They have a similar sound to a bunch of obscure bands you have never heard of
• If you have heard of one of the obscure bands they sound like, you realize its one of those bands that you know you are supposed to like but have never been able to get into
• They are huge in an undisclosed location in Europe

That's all nice and good, but here is what we do: We rock We rock without the use of a fog machine We will drink your beer We don’t sound like Creed, Nickelback, or some other contrived rock thingie.

With all of that said, we're all about making solid music. We've been influenced by the Pixies, Blackhappy, Social D, Cake, the Buzzcocks, the Dickies, and all the really cool local stuff that has happened around here.

We've been recording recently and have free downloadable mp3's available.

We also recently bowed down to peer pressure and birthed a myspace page. Yeah its evil and owned by Newscorp, but it seems to be pretty easy to connect with cool folks. Give it a spin and add us as a friend.
